Interesting to see how this develops. At least everyone is putting old rivalries aside to help out. If this had happened pre covid it would have been a much more complicated situation

British Railways Pea Jackets
A friend of mine is sorted out his late great uncle's possessions and has discovered a British Railway's Pea Jacket. Can anyone shed any light on this? Alan Carter worked for BR Parcels later moving to Red Star then to Lynx. He was active in the NUR. He passed away at the beginning of May 2020

I think there was only one. Robin Oakley's book on Bristol railway stations describes it as single faced.
Wikipaedia states 1 platform.
Photos are not that common. There is one which pops up on a few websites showing 3 members of staff stood on the platform facing the camera. Apparently one of ...
